1.Issue of FreeRTOS compilation errors when using ARMCLANG (AC6)

  1. If you are using the template, then simply copy the Middlewares folder from the "Other Notes" folder in the template to the root directory.

  1. If you created the project from scratch on Windows (without using a template), then you need to find the firmware source code downloaded by CubeMX.

For example, in Linux, firmware source code is in/home/tungchiahui(你自己的用户名)/STM32Cube/Repository/.

If you are F103, then open theSTM32Cube_FW_F1_V1.8.5folder.

If you are using F407, then open theSTM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.28.0folder.

Find path/home/tungchiahui/STM32Cube/Repository/STM32Cube_FW_F1_V1.8.5/Middlewares/Third_Party/FreeRTOS/Source/portable/.

Copy the ARM_CM3 folder in this GCC folder to the corresponding RVDS folder in the project folder.

2.CMake configuration execution error

If you encountererror cbuild: error executing 'cmake' configurationthis error, delete the tmp folder under the MDK-ARM folder. Then recompile.

3.Change the compiler for assembly language to the ARMClang integrated assembler.

This is a warning and does not affect normal use, but we should try to modify it if possible.

Warning: A1950W: The legacy armasm assembler is deprecated. 
Consider using the armclang integrated assembler instead.

4.Some tools were not downloaded.

Click ARM Tools below, then enter the interface below to select the corresponding version, and then click Update Tool Registry. (The most common issue is that the compiler and debugger libraries were not automatically downloaded.)

If you do not know which tools are needed, it is recommended to select the latest version of all of them. (I have personally tested that selecting the latest versions of all of them works properly.)
